This beautiful landscape, composing of sediments like gravel and saline muds, came about from Furnace Creek Lake as a result of volcanic erosions. It was established as an attraction in the 1920s by the Pacific Coast Borax Company - with the point named after their vice president, Christian Zabriskie! Each year, visitors and photographs flock to this picturesque site to bask in its unique beauty that sets it apart from other lookouts. You will truly feel as though you have been transported to another dimension.


Zabriskie Point is a perfect lookout point with views varying from Manly Beacon to the Red Cathedral. As if Zabriskie Point cannot be any more beautiful, the colourful hues of pink, orange and blue during the sunset will certainly take your breath away at the end of the day!

Tips Before You Go
Different seasons each bring with them different scenic views of Zabriskie Point. However, it is best avoided in the month of May where it is simply too hot to enjoy.
