A museum full of beautiful artefacts and relics from Yunnan’s ethnic minorities, the Yunnan Provincial Museum explores the history of the province through a fascinating display of more than 200,000 pieces of cultural relics.

The museum takes you through the entirety of Yunnan’s history, with exhibitions detailing its natural history, and the history of human activity in the area. You’ll find out all about civilisations in Yunnan from the Neolithic Age to the Bronze Age, such as the ancient Dian kingdom and the Nanzhao and Dali Kingdoms.
