Opened to the public in 1973, the park has become a hallmark for many popular musical acts to perform. They include Michael Jackson, The Rolling Stones, U2, Elton John, Linking Park, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears and many, many more. The park has a total of six gardens, with a few of them being established as memorial gardens such as the Gan HaBanim or Fallen Soldiers Memorial Garden and the Gan Nifga’ei HaTeror or Terror Victims Memorial Garden. Tips Before You Go
The park gets crowded during weekends and holidays – and people actually start streaming in at the crack of dawn. The best times to visit would be early in the morning or in the evening, as it would be cooler then. You wouldn’t want to be out and about in the hot sun now would you?
