A one-of-a-kind museum offering a wide collection of treasures from under the sea!

The World Seashell Museum is located in South Korea and it has a wide collection of shells and corals from under the sea on display! The museum houses over 3200 seashells from all over the world and these are displayed over several floors. The second floor houses a huge art piece comprising of shells from Jeju, which the art director of the museum had claimed would be completed 20 years ago but remains a work in progress till today. With the aesthetic appeal the seashells on display offer, many visitors have said that it felt more like an art gallery rather than a museum. Opening hours each day is from 9am to 8pm and the museum closes an hour earlier in the winter. Adults will have to pay 6000 won while children and seniors pay 3500 won.

The museum is not for everyone, due to its rather unique exhibitions.
