Visitors who come in December will be thrilled to know that they will be in for a treat as their trip will coincide with the yearly VanDusen Festival of Lights. Christmas is an affair taken seriously at the VanDusen Botanical Garden which is dramatically transformed into a winter wonderland during this joyous month of celebrations. The colourful lights however, are restricted to the near the entrance of the garden. Nonetheless, this is definitely a magical sight you would not want to miss! The best time to appreciate the lights will be at night.
