Repurposed “junk”? More like repurposed treasures, a tasteful masterpiece that everyone’s eyes would light up at.

Who knew that using street lamps from many decades ago, would be an absolute masterpiece? Talented artist Chris Burden has brought together his craft and genius to give us this gorgeous modern art installation. His last name not a strong indication of his genius, he has brought over 200 street lamps to bring us a stunning piece.

Street lamps that were previously used to light up the streets of Southern California, the stark white lamps come together in a beautiful bouquet of lamps. Looking as if they were white lilies in a large bouquet, Burden’s craft arranged the many lamps in a grid-like arrangement. Now becoming Los Angeles’ iconic landmark, the sea of white street lamps is a hit with the international world. An Instagram-able installation, many have jumped at the opportunity to take the best shots. With the stark colour, they stand out against the bustling city life full of colour. A masterpiece, the 16 different designs of the lamps serve to be representative of each unique identity every country possesses. An absolutely visually-stimulating installation, Burden’s craft has set him apart from many installation art artists of his generation and beyond.

Tips Before You Go
For the best photos, do look to come early to avoid random people walking. As night falls, the white street lamps contrast greatly, perfect for those looking for shots with interesting angles.
