Pay your respects to the brave lives lost by visiting the UN Memorial Cemetery in Busan, Korea. This cemetery commemorates the UN soldiers from 16 countries around the world and UN aids from five countries who died in combat during the Korean War which lasted from 1950-1953. Spanning a whopping 135,000m², this memorial park consists of the Memorial Service Hall, Memorabilia Hall, various international monuments and two ponds. There is also a Wall of Remembrance which has the names of the soldiers who have passed on in service for the greater good of mankind. You can expect to find some animals such as pheasants and geese within the compounds or if you are more of a botany fan, there are over 15,000 trees and plants for you to admire.
