The Tvindefossen (also known as Tvinnefossen) waterfall is an extremely popular waterfall located in the municipality of Voss in Hordaland county. Easily accessible via the E16 motorway, this stunning waterfall is sure to capture your imagination.


Formed by a small stream, the water flows down a height of 152 metres in multiple ‘strands’ down a receding cliff. These characteristics add to its allure; indeed the waterfall is such a treat to the eyes that the famous Norwegian artist, Johan Christian Dahl, had to feature the Tvindefossen in his paintings.
