Built in 2003, Tsz Shan Monastery continues to be a highly visited place for those in search of a tranquil sanctuary. This Buddhist temple is located at Tung Tsz, which is also where you can find the world’s tallest bronze Guanyin statue. When the monastery first opened, entry was limited to only 400 people per day. Today, you are still required to book your visit in advance. The monastery is commonly described as peaceful and picturesque, and some interesting activities offered include “ Walking Meditation ” and “ Zen Calligraphy ”.
