Tsambika Beach

One of the best beaches on Rhodes island, most ideal for a family day out!

Tsambika Beach stretches 800m in length and is a spread of fine, white sand, situated on the east coast of Rhodes island. Owing to its distance away from the capital, the beach remains rather preserved and has survived major urban developments. Most of the land still comes under the administration of the Orthodox church.

At the north end of the beach, atop a sharp cliff that dominates the beach sits the church of Panagia Tsambika. The beach remains one of the best on Rhodes Island due to its crystal clear and shallow waters making it perfect for a family day out with the young children. Enjoy the umbrellas and water sport facilities such as an inflatable waterpark for children. With many amenities readily available alongside the wide array of food and beverages, Tsambika Beach is well equipped, meeting all needs. You may access the beach via public transport but try going by car or bike instead as there is certainly a lot of interesting things in the vicinity worth exploring as well!
