Tropicana Field

Home not just to the Tampa Bay Rays of Major League Baseball (MLB), this is also where some special guests call their home.

Built in 1990, the domed stadium has undergone several name changes, settling with Tropicana Field as a result of a 30-year naming-rights deal. A unique sports arena, Tropicana Field hosts several sporting events, not just within the spectrum of baseball, but even soccer, hockey and even motorsports! Well ventilated, the stadium is cooling regardless the season.

As you make your way here, you must visit the Ted Williams Museum and the Hitters Wall of Fame. Dedicated to Ted Williams, known as “the greatest hitter that ever lived”, famously using a lighter bat than his teammates. Showcasing his life whilst serving the military and his professional baseball career, visitors get a personal glimpse of his life. Alongside the legend himself, several other players such as Willie Mays and Mickey Mantle are featured here, no less extraordinary than Williams himself. Most importantly, you must not forget to head to the Rays Touch Tank! Experience how touching friendly rays is like, often likened to puppies, but just ones that live in the sea. Buzzing with excitement and the tense atmosphere during games, Tropicana Stadium definitely surpasses your expectations, with something for everyone!
