Trinity Church

Religion and art combined in this church in Oslo.

Covered in red brick tiles on the outside, the Trinity Church manages to strike the perfect balance between majestic and welcoming. Located in Oslo, Norway, this is known as one of the most beautiful churches in the city, and in fact, it can even be considered on the most beautiful in the whole world as well. Adorned with stained glass windows, the octagonal church is designed in the neo-Gothic style, and was consecrated way back in 1858. The interior of this Lutheran church is just as majestic as the exterior, with a seating capacity of 1200 people, including a grand chandelier designed by renowned Norwegian artist Emanuel Vigeland. Art lovers will especially enjoy observing the altar piece which tells the tale of the Baptism of Jesus Christ, and the sculpture of the Baptismal angel. Regardless of whether you believe in the same faith or not, this church is a must-visit for its sheer aesthetic quality.
