Named after the indigenous Tongva people, this 6-acre park is definitely not a park you’d want to miss. Honouring the culture of the Tongva people who have inhabited these lands for years, the dirt lot was transformed into an urban green space right in Santa Monica.


Featuring an Observation Hill, Discovery Hill, Garden Hill and Gathering Hill, there’s plenty to discover here. Boasting several well-sheltered picnic areas for families and couples to spend a day in, there are even play areas for children to frolic in! Situated right at the Discovery Hill, families with children can opt to picnic near the play area or splash pad, giving the children easy access to these play areas, as well as allowing parents to keep a close eye on their little ones. While playing may be an attractive activity to children, you can opt to go on a trip of learning. Blooms of different brilliant shade, are sure to attract children and adults alive.
