Upon first hearing it, you might think that the name of the museum is a little odd. What could it possibly contain? Well, don’t just ponder about it, but take a step inside, and you will soon find out that Tom Tit’s Experiment is in fact a museum where all the exhibits are completely interactive and hands on. Tom Tit was a fictional figure who carried out various scientific experiments in the French newspaper L’Illustration, with him also making appearances in several books throughout the late 1800s. Hence it is fitting that he should give his name to this museum, which serves as the perfect family destination. Age is not a limiting factor, as its intricate scientific exhibits are for children and adults of all ages to discover. You can choose to jump in at the deep end or brush your fingers (metaphorically speaking) lightly over the surface of the creative exhibits. You can enjoy a swing ride on ‘Jojon,’ interact with the industrial robot ‘Robocoaster,’ and even direct the weather with ‘Stormen.’ These were in fact given several awards for their creativity and ingenuity, so it is more than worth your while to extend your visit and immerse yourself thoroughly in the experience!

Tips Before You Go
The garden of the museum is only open from May to September, but the museum’s other attractions such as a café, a picnic room, a restaurant and a shop are open all year round. They even hold events, conferences and organize team-building activities! So even if you can’t visit the garden, there’ll be tons of other things to do in the meantime.
