Tinago Falls

A beautiful journey leads to a beautiful destination.

Hidden within a deep ravine, the spectacular Tinago Falls best represents the phrase “Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations”. As indicated by its Filipino moniker “Tinago” which translates to “hidden” in English, visitors will have to descend an estimated 500 steep, winding steps down the ravine to reach the Tinago Falls.

Falling from an impressive height of 73-metres, the falls cascade beautifully into a deep, blue-hued lagoon, perfect for swimming and relaxing in its cool, refreshing waters. Beneath the falls, visitors can rest in an idyllic cavern hidden from the rest of the world, and breathe in the calming, tranquil atmosphere of Tinago Falls. Visitors can also rent tables and chairs for a cosy picnic at the falls, or rent bamboo rafts to get up close to the impressive cascade of water. Situated close to Iligan city, the Tinago Falls is a rejuvenating haven for tired souls and provides visitors with a brief respite away from the bustling city of Iligan.
