Three Kingdoms Park

A beautiful ode to this famous Chinese story.

You’ve heard of the China’s famous historical narrative ‘Romance of the Three Kingdoms’, but have you heard of the Three Kingdoms Park in Thailand? It’s a historic museum and theme park dedicated to this Chinese classic, which has captured the imagination of readers for many centuries. It was established by Chinese Thai businessman Kiarti Srifuengfung, who had the vision of exposing visitors to the beauty of Buddhist philosophy and its close relationship with Chinese culture. Although among the lesser-known attractions of the Pattaya city area, it is immaculately well kept and amazingly photogenic.

Among its many charms, you’ll find a long wall painted with murals depicting scenes from the Romance of the Three Kingdoms. It’s the longest corridor of hand-painted tiles in the world. There are also elegant Chinese vases and paintings on display, which likewise describe the story. And there’s no way to miss the towering pagodas, which contains similar memorabilia and also offers a splendid view of the entire park. It’s a unique experience that presents history like a story, one that will draw you in for more.
