Visit the Rabbit House and discover its hidden gems.

An elegant palace in Warsaw, the Królikarnia or ‘Rabbit House’ is located in the scenic Wisła River escarpment. Built as a rabbit warren for Poland's King Augustus II, the Królikarnia was inspired by the well-known Renaissance Villa Rotonda outside Vicenza, Italy. Marvel at the masterpieces of the Xawery Dunikowski Museum of Sculpture. Then head on to the art museum where you will uncover more astounding works, including those by the prominent Polish sculptor and Auschwitz survivor Xawery Dunikowski. Look out for the intriguing sculpture of The Soul Escaping the Body, which is also replicated in the tombstone of the sculptor, Dunikowski. A fantastic place; do check out the carefully curated pieces in its temporary exhibitions as well. These change every now and then and you never know what discovery you’ll make.
