The Museo del Traje (The Costume Museum) is a relatively new museum, founded in 2004, devoted entirely to the evolution of fashion in Spain. Built in a modernist-style building by architect Jaime Lopez de Asiain (born 1933), it houses over 160,000 pieces of fashion and design items spanning from the medieval ages to the modern era.


Visitors will be awed by its vast collections, organized according to various themes. Temporary exhibitions are also held each month, which feature exhibits ranging from fashion to toys! Moreover, conferences, as well as workshops for all ages, are held here regularly. With so many things to do, every visit to The Costume Museum will be sure to provide a diverse and unique experience!
