The Broad

One of the most important contemporary arts museums in Los Angeles.

The Broad is a contemporary arts museum showcases a, well, broad range of post-World War 2 artworks. Visitors to the museum will be treated to both special temporary exhibitions and a permanent collection of more than 2,000 works donated by Eli and Edythe Broad, though only about 250 are on display at any point in time. The vast range of works use different mediums, from charcoal sketches to immersive videos, each of which will captivate not just your sight, but all your senses.

While you’re at the museum, you can’t miss Yayoi Kusama’s Infinity Rooms. They’re small rooms lined with mirrors and filled with LED lights, making you feel like you’re standing in an endless space, or in the middle of a galaxy of stars. Each visit into the room is only 45 seconds long, but even that short amount of time is enough to leave you enthralled and enchanted. And the best part? The entire museum is completely free!

Tips Before You Go
Do remember to book your tickets in advance and avoid long waiting times when you visit. You’ll need to register for a time slot to see the Infinity Rooms as well, so make sure that’s the first thing you do when you visit.
