Enormous white limestone cliffs rise up behind the town of Cap d’Ail, and herein lies the scenic trail that leads to the viewing point of Tête de Chien. Feel the wind whipping through your hair as you make your way past the cacti, wild flowers, and flourishing lavender that surround the path. The majestic blue ocean stretches to the horizon on one side, while the rough, raw beauty of the cliffs lies to the other, with luxurious villas dotting the cliffside and the town sprawled out beneath.

The walk might be relatively strenuous for some but don’t worry, you’ll be taking numerous breaks to stop and admire the views anyway. And at the same time you’ll be getting some movement and fresh air that your body will thank you for later. Once you reach the summit, you will be greeted by what is recognized as possibly the very best views of Monaco. Cap d’Ail, Cap Ferrat, Menton and on clear days, Antibes and even Italy come into focus in the distance. Even the most professional pictures can’t do justice to the awe-inspiring view, so make sure to see it for yourself.
