The track itself may not look like much—it’s covered entirely in choppy sand—but it’s been traversed by countless horses which have created a glorious sight when churning up the sand with their hooves. On normal days, the track is peaceful and serene. But on game day the excitement is at a fever pitch, as the horses prance nervously in their stalls before the race and the spectators watch in anticipation from the stands.
