Commonly known to attract many glamorous sunbathers, Tamarama Beach has been endearingly nicknamed as ‘Glamarama’ by locals. Albeit a small size, Tamarama remains a hot spot for a picnic, a barbeque or just a leisurely day out. It also has great surfing conditions and when the swell really rolls in bringing an onset of huge waves, it tends to attract pro board-riders who crave a more thrilling experience. During this period of strong currents, do be careful while swimming and perhaps consider admiring the views from a safe distance of the cliffs above.
