If you think science and technology is too complicated for the average person to appreciate, this museum will prove you wrong with its interactive and interesting displays that will engage people of all ages. There are primarily 3 exhibits on offer; megamind, 100 innovations exhibition and the main museum. For families with children, MegaMind is the place to head straight to, an exciting and unique section where you can get directly involved with the displays, experimenting with cutting-edge technological ideas such as painting with your eyes, crafting virtual sculptures or making music with nothing but your mind! The 100 Innovations Exhibition will bring you on a walk through history to marvel at the publicly voted top 100 best innovations of all time, which will both inspire and educate. For those intellectuals among us with a keen interest in the development of technology from the past, to the present, and even into the future, the museum Archives is the place for you. It is no wonder that this museum is Sweden’s largest museum of technology, with its Archives consisting of around 1200 shelf metres of documents, 200,000 maps and drawings and more than 1 million images and photographs documenting this, which are freely available to the public. You’ll no doubt want to buy a souvenir to remember your visit, and the well-stocked museum shop will leave you spoilt for choice with its creative and unique range of products. Lastly, the museum is very well-equipped and friendly for the hearing impaired, vision imparied, disabled and those with allergies.
