Sorolla Museum (Museo Sorolla)

The most complete collection of Sorolla’s work.

This museum is the former house of painter Joaquin Sorolla (1863 – 1923) and has been left untouched since his death. There is even an unfinished painting, which he was working on before he died, left intact in here! Well-known for his Mediterranean beach scenes, the museum exhibits many of these works. There are also some portraitures, and the art collections that he amassed during his lifetime are showcased here as well. Outside the museum is an Andalusian-styled garden designed by Sorolla himself, and is opened to visitors.
