Only a twenty-minute car ride from the city center, Sljeme is a ski resort in Zagreb atop the slopes of mountain Medvednica. On the peak ridge and northern slopes, you can find ski slopes and ski lifts - the lifts can handle a capacity of 3000 people in an hour, and the total length of the slopes are about 4000 meters, gentle on White Meadow in the east and steep on Red Slope, towards the north.

The Red Slope, White Meadow, Green Slope and parts of the Blue Slope also come handy with snowmaking facilities and a special lighting system that allows one to ski at night.
