Feel the thrill of watching the Formula 1 race at the Shanghai International Circuit.
Located in Jiading, the Shanghai International Circuit is best known as the venue for the annual Formula 1 Chinese Grand Prix. Costing approximately $450 million, the area was given a complete makeover as it was transformed from a swampland to an international racetrack in 18 months, kudos to the team of 3000 engineers who worked round the clock. Designed by Hermann Tilke, featuring his trademark track feature: a long back straight followed by a hairpin turn. The track layout was inspired by the Chinese character "shang", which means ascend, and it also sounds like the first syllable of Shanghai, the host city. With a circuit length of 5.451 km, the standard for a Formula One circuit, come and catch an adrenaline-charged race when the F1 leg reaches Shanghai.
