The iconic landmark of Sequoia National Park, offering breathtaking views at its peak.
At first sight of the mountain, one cannot help but agree with the accuracy of its name. Sawtooth Peak, at 3,762 metres high, is a jagged mountain found within Sequoia National Park. Located in the Mineral King region of the park, the mountain is often frequented by mountaineers endeavouring to climb to its peak. Climbers who conquer the challenging trail will be rewarded with magnificent views of the Great Western Divide, as well as the alpine glacial gems inclusive of Monarch Lakes, Columbine Lakes and Mineral King Valley. The easiest approach to the top is from the valley to Sawtooth Pass, but some parts of the trail can be very steep with loose granites. So get your hiking gear and persevere to the top, where you will experience three hundred and sixty degrees of pure beauty.
