Sarphatipark

A beautiful, well-loved and family friendly park.

The small but elegant Sarphatipark has a reputation as the most beautiful park in Amsterdam. Filled with fountains, pavilions and a magnificent bust of Samuel Sarphati, a Jewish doctor and philanthropist after whom the park was named, the park is an old favourite of the locals, who enjoy going for walks in its tree-shaded paths.

Visitors to the park will always have something to do. Basketball courts and table tennis facilities are perfect for sports enthusiasts, while parents can let their little ones play at the playground. Pet owners are particularly fond of Sarphatipark, as it is dog friendly and contains a designated area where dogs are allowed to roam free and interact with each other.
