Sani Beach

If you thought family owned beach resorts were quaint, small-town affairs, think again.

Unlike traditional beach fronts, the whole of Sani beach falls under a single beach resort with 4 hotels, 17 restaurants and numerous entertainment facilities to its name. What once was empty land bordering the Kassandra Rural Prison is now a maze of nature reserves, hiking trails and camping sites. Navigate your way through bird sanctuaries amidst the call of the glossy ibis and the Mediterranean gulls or ignite your taste buds at any of the restaurants located around the resort. For the gastronomists, the Gourmet Festival is held annually in May and features world renowned chefs.

One of the many benefits of a beach tucked into a resort is the peace and quiet blanketing the pristine blue waters. There are few tourists at any point in time, providing you with personal access to the beach facilities. A short climb northwest of the main Marina will bring you to the grey, stone slabs of the watchtower. The once-pirate watchtower is now a great outpost giving visitors a bird’s eye view of the wide bay area. Sani beach is the perfect getaway as you immerse and lose yourself in the glinting waters and towering trees.
