Tips Before You Go
The palace is only open to the public during the summer, so if entering the palace will be a focal point of your trip, then we suggest that you schedule your holiday here accordingly. Furthermore, you must book a guided tour if you wish to see the interior of the palace. These only take place during the summer, and usually last for an hour. Unfortunately, you won’t be allowed to take pictures during the tour, so you’ll have to make do with shots of the exterior only. You can request for photos with the guards however. Just make sure you ask those stationed near the back of the palace. They tend to be more relaxed about it since they’re not standing guard at the palace gates.
