Rocky Mountain National Park

Escape into the mountains of Colorado.

As its name suggests, the Rocky Mountain National Park mainly comprises mountains that are above 3,350 metres in altitude. The site is popular amongst locals and tourists alike and draws a crowd of more than three million yearly. With a wide array of activities available for visitors, it is the ideal destination for a family trip.

Bond with your families and/or friends as you hike amidst the tundra or camp on top of the world – the park is open every day and the world (or park) is your oyster! Make use of Colorado’s four seasons and enjoy an activity best suited to each one. For an easier reference, hiking, rock climbing, and cycling are preferred during summer and fall, while winter and spring invites winter hiking and snowshoeing. If you do not know which to choose, the guides at the visitor centre will be pleased to help you. The park also has a seemingly infinite number of wildlife species, and though it is possible not to cross paths with any of them, you may catch glimpses chipmunks and mule deer in their natural habitat. Some animals may be camouflaged, however, but don’t let that stop you from keeping a lookout!
