Riegrovy Sady

Tranquility and beauty in one place.

Riegrovy Sady, which, in English means “Rieger Gardens”, is over a century old. When you’re in Prague and you want a change of scenery, this park is exactly what you need. With quiet corners and plenty of wooded areas, pathways and open stretches of verdant green, this park will provide a much-needed breather.

Whether you’re content with making yourself comfortable at a bench and watching the trees rustle in the breeze or you want to whittle the time away with a fresh beer, the park offers a great number of choices. Situated on a hill, it is also a prime location for photographers to video the panoramic view of Prague, and the beautiful Prague Castle in the distance. You can appease your rumbling stomach with a meal at Classical lookout tower-turned-restaurant, in the appearance of a three-sided obelisk made of sandstone. Not to be missed while you’re in Prague!

Tips Before You Go
The beer garden is an “open-air garden”, and various dishes are available along with the beer. If you’re here with children, let them have fun at the nearby playground without any worries.
