A challenging trail promising extraordinary views.
Nothing good ever comes easy. This phrase is amplified by the Reinebringen, a mountain in Lofoten, Norway. Standing tall at 448m, this is one of the most popular hiking trails undertaken by hikers, even though it is considered rather dangerous. Yet, the view is so fantastic that instead of heeding warnings against the climb, more and more people flock here to do just that.
The trail is slippery and steep and hence, should only be attempted if you are physically (and mentally) fit. In addition, when you are maneuvering along the trail and happen to cause some accidental rock fall, you should yell out “rocks!” to alert the people below of any possible danger. However, restorations are being carried out to ensure a safer trail for all to enjoy! Thus, with the newfound safety measures, the trail is looking to be much safer and more stable. Nevertheless, if you choose to try and conquer this beast, please don’t forget to take a picture of the coveted view from the Reinebringen.
