Regional Natural Park of Lessinia

See the verdant paradise of the Regional Natural Park of Lessinia.

Covering an immense area of about 10 hectares, the enchanting Regional Natural Park of Lessinia is a haven for nature lovers. With the highest elevation at 1976m, the park is home to the beautiful Lessini Mountains. Be enthralled by the magic of the largest natural bridge in Europe, Ponte di Veja, at a height of 50m. It resulted from the collapse of a vault in a natural cave, rumoured to be the very cave that inspired Dante Alighieri to write Inferno, the first part of his well-known “Divine Comedy”.

Other geological wonders include fossil deposits and interesting rock formations scattered around the park. Nature lovers will be delighted to explore the park’s unique flora and fauna. Don’t miss out on visiting the Molina Waterfalls, rich in its beauty as creeks form gushing waterfalls and small lakes. A natural park not to be missed, one day here is simply not enough.
