Redondo Beach Pier

A landmark of South Bay, this pier represents everything we know and love about California.

Dine, shop and entertain yourself, all while admiring the ocean surrounding you on all sides. First and foremost, the pier is known for its abundance of shops where you’ll end up spending more money than you bargained for once you see the vintage, one of a kind t-shirts and fresh pearl jewellery that you won’t be able to resists buying home as a unique gift for a loved one. The restaurants at the Pier are also renowned for the great variety and views at all the options available. To get a true taste of Cali, try one of the classics like Tony’s on the Pier which was established in 1952, or El Torito that held a firm place along the Pier since 1972. This pier is known as the happiest place on earth, with Happy Hours galore almost everyday at most of the restaurants. Another familiar face on the pier is Georgette, the 16.5 foot great white shark who makes her home at Shark attack on the Pier.

Here at the pier, people paddle boarding, surfing and fishing in the water is a common sight. A pier wouldn’t be a pier without an arcade, and indeed, here you can go for a spin on the tilt-a-whirl (preferably before dinner!) or take a trip down memory lane and play one of the classic arcade games. The blast from the past is even more powerful as the pier is currently undergoing renovation in a style reminiscent of the original pier, with a wooden boardwalk and historical photos at the Redondo Landing. So watch the pier undergo its constant evolution, all the while maintaining its reputation as the pride and joy of the Californian coastline.
