Pyrgaki Beach

Pyrgaki Beach promises fun for your entire family.

Naxos Island is home to some of the clearest and most scenic beaches in Cyclades, like the Beach of Pyrgaki. This agglomeration of three coves is just 18 kilometers from Naxos Town, and the road is mostly paved except near the beach itself. It is a favourite among those who seek solitude or quality time with their family. The stretch of fine sand and shallow yet clear waters makes this beach ideal for children (although you should always keep an eye on them since lifeguards are not around). Not only is the beach a quiet haven, it rarely gets crowded. The beach is one of the many areas protected by the NATURA 2000 network, unsurprising when gazing at the many cedar trees that form a woody area along the seafront. You will have access to basic amenities as well as accommodation in the area.
