There is no such thing as having too many pens at the small yet wondrous Pen Museum, located in the heart of Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham! Formerly a pen factory, it has since been converted into a museum solely dedicated to Birmingham's illustrious steel pen industry. Besides that, learn more about the evolution of pens through the stunning collection of inkwells and escritoires.


You can also explore the antique “Pen Room” gallery, with its wooden interior and preserved old photographs and posters collaged on the wall. It serves as a home to a wide array of pens from different time periods. There is also the “Phillip Poole Room”, a writer’s paradise filled with preserved typewriters and calligraphy sets.
