Pearse’s Beach

A beautiful secluded beach with ancient towering dunes and stunning blue waters.

More suitable for viewing from the coastal track rather than taking a dip in, Pearses Beach is a beautiful secluded beach. One of the four small pocket beaches along the area, this beach is backed by 10-20m tall dune-covered calcarenite bluffs, iconic to the area. Littered with rock and reef flats, the beach is good for swim in medium to high tide yet is limited in terms of surfing opportunities. While this may prove disappointing for the surfing buffs, the Pearse's Beach is terrific for beachcombing and for those who simply wish to plant their feet on soft sand and clear waters.

Lying in between Sorrento and Rye, the beach is a popular summer spot amongst for those who know of it's beauty. With stunning blue waters, golden sand and foregrounded by exposed rock and reef flats, this is a natural occurrence that has stood unchanged throughout the centuries, remaining as one of Melbourne's most quintessential and unmissable attractions.
