The Pavlovsk Park is one of the largest landscaped gardens in the world which surrounds the elegant 18th century Pavlovsk Palace. Originally conceived as a classical English landscape garden by the Scottish architect Charles Cameron, the design was inspired by the enchanting paintings of Claude Lorraine and Hubert Robert. Covering a massive area of 607 hectares, the highlights of the Pavlovsk Park are found around the banks of the Slavyanka River.
