Waterfalls, caves, and gardens- this park is an impressive spectacle of them all. A place to relax, admire different species of plants, and get three different views of the waterfall- through the lower cave, upper cave, and from the botanical garden.
The Parco Grotto Cascata in Varone is simply breath-taking. What makes this waterfall unique is the fact that it has remained intact over centuries, due to admirable care and maintenance. Prior to 1874, there was no way of climbing the mountain to get the exceptional view of the waterfall. Today however, there are bridges, staircases, and paths leading up, enabling visitors to conveniently walk up the falls to get a mesmerizing view.
The Parco Grotto Cascata is a geological marvel. Visitors can enter the caves and enjoy the walk through the spritz of waterfall. This lower cave gives the view of the waterfall at its last phase. Often, walking up the upper level of the waterfall will give a grand view of the rainbow created by the water spray. The waterfall can be viewed at the height of its fall from the upper cave.
