Parc Monceau

A Parisian park with an informal layout, making it quite unique like no other.

In one of Paris' most interesting parks, Parc Monceau contains a variety of oddities that compels one to visit. A colonnade surrounds a little lake, colorful flora and fauna are sprawled everywhere, and pyramids and randomly placed statues lie scattered across the park. Unlike the other French parks you might have been to, this park is all about preserving the authenticity of nature. As such, the notions of symmetry and structure simply do not exist on its grounds. Most beautiful in Autumn, take a bike ride through the paved pathways and enjoy autumnal flowers in their blossom, perfectly complemented by the fiery appearance of the autumn leaves in shades of red and yellow. Watch the last rays of sunlight turn every inch of the park golden at sunset on a carriage ride and enjoy one of Paris’ most informally styled parks.
