The Parc de Mon Repos is a public park in Lausanne, Switzerland which contains significant landmarks and buildings, including the Maison de Mon-Repos, where the International Olympic Committee was headquartered in 1922-1967. Next to the park is also the Federal Supreme Court of Switzerland.

For those who aren’t there for the buildings, there are also gardens with a large collection of caged birds as well as a large fountain where the stables used to be in the past, alongside an orange grove, waterfall and other features. Overall, as a well-kept and scenic park, Mon Repos is a beautiful place to spend your day in peace and serenity.

It is a great place to visit landmarks as well as immerse yourself among the locals, as the park is very popular among several generations of people living in the city. There’s even a playground and sandpit for children, while parents can sit at the nearby cafe or have gelato!

Tips Before You Go
It is best to visit the Parc during the summer months, as that is when there is the most activity in the area, including a cafe that opens in a unique neoclassical pavillion in the centre.
