Palos Verdes Estates Shoreline Preserve Beach

A 4.5 mile long beach with magnificent scenic views and hiking trails.

An out-and-back trail near the residential Palos Verdes Estates, the preserve beach consists of 130 acres of undeveloped land famous for its geological features, in particular the Paseo Del Mar Bluffs which lead to beautiful cliff-top views of the ocean and the sea birds.

Though you can drive along the road closest to the beach to admire the scenery, there are many short trails (of around 1.4 miles long) that can be accessed by parking at the small carpark (though space can always be found as the trail is not a huge tourist attraction) and walking along the cliffs.

The beach is beautiful and a huge contrast to the nearby metropolis, and a great places to view the shorelines and flora and fauna of California. For those who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city without going through particularly arduous hikes, this shoreline preserve beach offers light hiking trails for everyone to enjoy.
