Indulge in the exquisite charms of the Palazzo della Carovana.

Standing majestically in Knights' Square, Pisa, the magnificent palace of Palazzo della Carovana was built by Giorgio Vasari from 1562-1564. See the visually stunning facade which represents the epic figures of allegory and signs of the zodiac. These structures were the masterwork of Vasari and sculpted by fine artists such as Tommaso di Battista del Verrocchio and Alessandro Forzori. Do not miss the intricate sculptures created by Stoldo Lorenzi in 1563 on the Medici Coat of Arms and the knights which are beautifully bordered by the allegories of Justice and Religion.
