The Orlando Wetlands Park is one of the best places to for bird watching and wildlife observation in Florida. Spanning an area of more than 1,600 acres, its extensive network of man-made wetlands hosts a diverse ecosystem and is home to a stunning array of wildlife, especially birds.


More than 150 species of birds, 60 species of butterflies and other animals like alligators and even the elusive Florida Panther have found a safe haven in the Orlando Wetlands Park. As you walk along one of its many trails, you’ll be surrounded by rustles in the made by invisible animals in the bushes, and the flutters and calls of birds going about their daily business.


Its numerous trails make the park a perfect location for hiking and mountain biking, while the gorgeous natural landscapes and curious animals are treats for amateur and professional photographers alike. And, of course, animal and wildlife enthusiasts will fall in love at first sight.
