Kuala Lumpur City, Malaysia
Orchid Park (Taman Orkid)

Immerse yourself in a showcase of the flower of love, luxury, beauty and strength.

Home to up to 800 species of orchids and a total 6000 of these flowers, the Orchid Garden is truly a sight to behold. Located a short walk away from the Butterfly Park and in the vicinity of the Perdana Botanical Garden, this small piece of paradise is a must-see spot for anyone looking to brighten up their day.

Waving gracefully at visitors, these colourful flowers are a delight to look at. Hedges and wire walls are decked with the orchids – a creative way of showcasing the plants. The two main orchids housed here are the airborne Epiphytic Orchids (which grow on tree trunks and branches) and the more grounded Terrestrial Orchids, and they lend for a beautiful sight throughout the gardens. If you’re a huge fan of all things flora, you can head over to the stunning Hibiscus Garden as well. While you’re there, see if you can catch a glimpse of the city through the trees!

Tips Before You Go
Include this on your list when you’re visiting the Perdana Botanical Garden. There are free buses that drop you off at the base of the garden complex, so if you’re up for the walk, definitely take that into consideration.
