Have some ocean-fresh seafood at one of the restaurants along the road – a local favourite is The Lobster, which serves whole lobsters with amazing views of the Santa Monica coastline on the side. Pop into one of the souvenir shops for a couple of trinkets and knick-knacks to bring home, or if you’re a surfer, check out one of the shops selling surf equipment and apparel. Now that you’re all shopped out, head down to Pacific Park, an amusement park where thrilling rides, unhealthy treats and addictive games meets the sea, and relive your childhood.
