Nunobiki Falls (布引渓流)

Considered to be among the top 100 waterfalls in Japan, the Nunobiki Falls is a set of man-made and natural waterfalls found in Kobe. Visitors will enjoy not just one, but rather, four amazing waterfalls en route to the top: Ontaki, Mendaki, Tsutsumigadaki and Meotodaki. Marvel at the sheer beauty of these falls, with the tallest standing at an impressive height of 43 metres! Visitors can access the observation deck near Mount Maya either via the hiking trail or by the Shin-Kobe Ropeway. While the former is physically challenging, visitors who opt for the hike will be rewarded with spectacular scenery while hiking through the park. For those who prefer an easy ride up the ropeway to the observation deck, you will be treated to a wonderful view of the city of Kobe while on board the ropeway!

Tips Before You Go
It is an easy, five-minute walk from Shin-Kobe Station to the lower station of Shin-Kobe Ropeway. To access the hiking trail to the waterfall, leave Shin-Kobe Station through the exit on the first floor to the south, where you will find a tunnel that leads to the forested mountain.
