The North Pole Expedition Museum is situated in Svalbard, Norway and provides visitors with keen insights into the heroic efforts made by pioneers to explore the North Pole during the turn of the last century. The museum aims to showcase the history and the significance North Pole expeditions have had on the Arctic.

It is a point for the museum to reinforce the diversity of the personal tales told by explorers. Hence many of the texts are handwritten by various historians and relatives of the explorers to depict accuracy and originality. The exhibition spans two floors and also showcases a large original selection of film footage, artefacts, ship and plane models, newspapers and images. Step in to learn about the many documented expeditions that were made to the North Pole, including the Norge and Italia expeditions amongst others, and before leaving, drop by the Museum Shop to pick up a souvenir to remember your trip here.
