Nordvest-Spitsbergen national park, the aptly named park that is located in the northwest region of Spitsbergen, is a great place for nature lovers to explore. Right here, you can lounge by the beach, or even spend some time keeping yourself warm at the hot springs. The Troll hot spring, with a temperature around 28 °C, and the Jotun hot spring, with its temperature around 24.5°C, are the northernmost hot springs in the world. A great place to soak your worries away, your experience comes with splendid views of mountains and blue skies.

This is also a great place to see some wildlife in their natural habitat. Mountain foxes, Walruses, Brent Geese, even Polar Bears can be found here. For the history lovers, you can find traces of historical importance here, such as Virgohavna, the spot where Salomon August Andrée attempted to travel to the North Pole by hot air balloon. You can even see what is left of the hunting stations, made to hunt whales in the past.
